Type O here. Vegetarian for 20+ years and on/off 801010 since 2008. Loved when you quoted the cow – so funny.The Bloodtype diet definately doesn’t make any sense.

Could you do a video on what activities you do and maybe what your bodyfat is like?I’m getting tired of all the comments on your socalled undereating…..You look absolutely fine to me (hot actually!) and you don’t look unhealthy like you’re about to pass out or anything like that. Also you def have mental clarity and I love that your vids are short and to the point. P.S. Just watched most of your vids today and again I’m happy they’re not 30 minutes of bs and excessive rambling.

I read the book many years ago and thought it was absurd. As an A blood type I’d have to give up some of my favourite tropical fruits! When people tell me they went back to eating meat because of their O blood type, I say, “Can you imagine a mommy monkey giving bananas to one of her offspring and not to another, due to blood type?” And how would one know our blood type without modern technology? It makes no sense but it makes a heck of a lot of dollars. Its just more good news about bad habits.

When people say that the blood type diet (or any other diet) worked for them, I say that every diets works to the degee that it aligns with nature’s laws. Some align more than others, but only your species specific diet aligns completely and therefore will give you the best enduring results.

agreed,,, i’m B & according to the book i should avoid tomatoes like the plague (my favourite fruit/veg) and eat game (like venison – no way i’m eating bambi =( )… i tried to do it years & years ago – but nope, couldn’t stick to it ’cause it’s ridiculous… i missed my tomatoes too much!! diets like this tend to “work” more so because of what people cut out of their diet, not because they’re finally eating for their blood type… what a load of crap! lol…

It’s so funny – we don’t see any animals eat different due to blood type – diets are pretty species specific. :)

Just wanted to ask about diets or eating systems that are based upon one’s constitution i.e., Ayurveda. Some people, based upon genetics mostly, have certain physical constitutions (air, fire water). As a result, their constitution would benefit most from foods that are energentically compatible with that quality. As a result, some people handle spicy foods better than others, depending on their constitution. To bring it back to raw foods and veggies, those foods also carry certain energies as well — For example, watermelon has a very cooling energy to the system and as such is best eaten in the summer. Carrots are known to have a warming quality and are best eaten in the winter. After I heard your comments about blood-type diets, I just wanted to hear your thoughts about other diets that rely upon a person’s energetic make-up. Thanks.

All of the people that I know (which is somewhere around 25) that did this saw amazing results. Many people say that they couldn’t stick to it but that doesn’t mean that the info is inaccurate. It’s more so about preference, very similar to the amount of information and data that states that the vegan diet is harmful to your body. It’s preference. At the end of the day it is a valid hypothesis whether you agree or not.

The study and science comes from Laura power her 20 year study on the effects of foods on different blood types. It is used in a program holistic, naturopaths, docs use called food pharmacy RX. Laura Power also explains how the other blood type diet has it ass backwards.

LOL this is so funny to me. I once read that book and I have type B blood, and I am lactose intolerant. I thought it was so funny. You’re right, we have to eat species specific! Fruit!

There is one way you could scientifically debunk this diet. You could take a large sample (to be statistically valid) of people who were unaware of their blood type (say, people who have never been to a doctor) and survey them as to their food preferences. Then you could test their blood type. For humanitarian reasons, and at the same time, you could also test for infectious diseases and parasites, so that they get a benefit from the study. Then measure their food preferences against their blood type.
I’ll bet my next bowl of grapes against any statistical correlation in favour of the “Blood Type” diet.

Does anyone know the blood types of: -
Hitler, Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, Idi Amin Dada, Pol Pot, Robert Mugabe, Attila the Hun, Genghis Khan and other aggressive people in history. I wonder if this group has a high probability of type O blood. Also, do we know the blood types of a large sample of violent criminals serving long sentences? Additionally, do we know the blood types of psychopaths? Are they mostly type Os?
It is reported that Hitler was mostly a vegetarian but that is hotly debated by some vegetarians. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolf_Hitler's_vegetarianism . One would think that his aggressive nature would indicate that he was a voracious meat eater, perhaps eating raw meat dripping with blood. Was his blood type, Type O?

I agree with you whole heartedly, Swayze! Another absurd fad that is going by the way side thank goodness. High carb/low fat raw vegan is the only way to go for optimal nutrition.

The best no fad diet is eating vegan raw fruit, veggies and greens with small amounts of fats.
I wouldn’t have it any other way

Blood typing is BS. I am a type O+positive. His book stated that I have high stomach acid, which is false, I found out i have low stomach acid. I believe more in body types, not blood type.

Finally began feeling great after switching to the blood type diet.Mainstream doctors don’t endorse it but, short of ‘emergency medicine’ western doctors do more harm then good.Holistic and blood type diet all the way, baby!

This is so true. If he blood type diet were true we would have biological mechanisms to steer us towards the best foods for our body and we don’t. As humans we eat whats’s available in our environment regardless of what blood type or shoe size we have.
