Bananas Better Than Sports Drinks for Athletic Performance?
Researchers at Appalachian State University wanted to know which was better for athletic performance: bananas or sports drinks?
Here’s what they found.
The researchers did note that the subjects “felt somewhat more full and bloated after cycling 75-km with BAN [bananas] compared to CHO [carbohydrate drink]“. Any endurance athletes out there want to comment? Please share below!:)
