  13. I do exactly the same I eat mostly fruits like 3-4k calories a day and the rest I get from rice and potatoes with steamed veggies

  17. When a raw food “guru” has a recipe that I want to try but I don’t have all the “right” ingredients I’ll try to use what I do have. Sometimes when I see ingredients that I couldn’t afford before, I’ll purchase one and use it. Sometimes I realize I don’t need and don’t purchase it again.
    Also, I have learned if I choose to eat something that is not raw I will not feel guilty about my food choice. But I will try to make my next bite raw or drink a big green smoothie. No guilt. That took a few years to control, the guilt and sometimes feeling disappointment in myself for choosing to eat something I didn’t need and ended up not even enjoying. That’s a long road but I’m getting there!

  22. Thank you for the little dose of perspective. The point of all of us trying to improve our health/nutrition is so we can have a better quality of life. Obsessing about perfection (guilty as charged) is not going to bring anything but restless sleep and stress. That said, I’m a little paranoid about the coconut & olive oil I have on my shelf after watching your other video. So, striving for forward progress & embracing each day as a gift is the method to my madness. Really grateful for the tips.

  36. Don’t worry about it. If you can’t get enough fruit, the next thing would be cooked starches and legumes. Again, the most important thing is high carb, low fat.

  40. toda i eat first timee steamedwhite rice. :) lol. maybe two bowls.. laa lli ii luu.. whatever….its cause fruits are expensive here i couldnt get them cheap. so i now substitute whith rice my fruits. so i stay organic and can get my calories im 6.4feet 2meter ..whatever i wish i would be small and need less calories. mabe its not good to be 8100100 cause its need so much food if you are large. now i go into excusese.
