Swayze

P.S. Here’s my tip for how to eat less nuts and seeds: eat more fresh fruit!

Sounds great! But how can you prepare fresh fruits so that they tantalize your taste buds, you ask? I’ve got just the thing…

You are so right on with your information regarding eating nuts & seeds. Looking it out it from another perspective, until the nutcracker was invented, we probably ate very little of them because we weren’t created with the physically means as squirrels and other such animals to crack the hard shells of these foods with ease to eat at will. After laboriously cracking open one or two of these foods with a rock or hard object, we gave up and went back to eating the fruits & veggies that were intended for us; easy accessible, and oh so delicious & nutritional. Also, fats are harder to digest unlike fruits and veggies. Right? If I eat a bunch of nuts, they feel like rocks sitting in my stomach for a few hours and can cause constipation. That’s my take on it. Thanks for sharing Swayze. <3

Be careful people!
‘Raw cashews” are steamed to remove the urushiol, the same toxic resin found in poison ivy. Steaming may not always remove all of this resin. Check out wisegeek.com/are raw cashews really poisonous? Not really a nut (like peanuts) at all. Dr. Norman Walker advised me against eating either way back in 1969! I’m sure most raw-foodists that have done any reading at all know who he was. As well as writing many books on raw foods, he created the famous Norwalk juicer(triturator/hydralic press). Mine has been in daily service for more than 40 years…
