They got the idea after seeing former news anchor John Cameron Swayze in a small bit (if I remember correctly, it just shows his name plate) in A Face in the Crowd (great movie, btw). LOL). Any questions they've ever asked me - like "Don't we need salt?" which my Dad has asked me at least a dozen times :lol: - I've answered honestly. I've just never tried to force anything on them or tell them what they should or should not be eating. It just isn't my place to do so.Just my being around has sparked an interest in health and they've gone on to do their own research and reach their own decisions, which is awesome! The only thing I refuse to buy them anymore is milk. They both bring fruit to school for lunch, and eat tons of salads. They only eat meat now about 3 times a week, and both of them are slimmer and healthier, and have been sleeping so much better! It's amazing! I was on the Atkins diet for years, so these kids are used to big slabs of meat, and lots of fat in their diet. So it has been a big change for them also. Even my ex has gone vegetarian! Swayze- I have been raw for almost 2 months now, and my kids are starting to follow in my footsteps! The only thing I refuse to buy them anymore is milk.
