I'll have to try it. Another method that works well for me is fill a teacup half full with apple cider vinegar. Add a couple of drops of liquid dish soap it it. Set it out near your infested fruit bowl. Within a day or two you'll find dead little fruit fly bodies floating in the cup. It works really really well. Good trick. I’ll have to try it.
