Annalise, if you feel fine on 1500 calories, then stick with 1500 calories. Don't try to force yourself to eat more just for the sake of eating more. :)

As far as my own digestion, I saw HUGE improvements immediately, but it did not become "perfect" until about 6 months after 100% lfrv. Until then, I still had slight gas (nothing painful) and elimination was still a little stinky. ;)

I struggle with binge eating, even on raw foods. It's so hard for me to pay attention to my hunger. One reason, because I am never hungry!! So there is so much outside influence on my mental chatter, saying "You need more calories, you should eat" and "You are breatfeeding, eat more!" And now eating 811, I eat a ton of food and I Keep eating until I can't eat anymore. It's such an adjustment to this new feeling of satiation, to know when my meal is over. It's just so hard to tell! And when am I hungry? I don't know. Also I don't know how many groceries to buy, so I find myself eating just so I can use up stuff that will soon go bad! So I guess it's a matter of time. And I am curious to do a banana mono-diet, what Dr G recommends for transition, to get in touch with real hunger. But again, that's a matter of trusting my body instead of my mental chatter telling me I "should" be eating more. When in reality, I am just fine and healthy with, like 1500 calories a day. (and I am a 5'4" moderately active, breastfeeding female.) But if I eat much more than that, I get gassy and tired. Swayze, how long did it take you on 811 for your digestion to adjust to the volume and not get gassy? Please give me some tips :)
