How to Earn Your Raw Food
So you struggle with staying raw. You’re not alone. Going raw can be rewarding in so many ways, but it’s also quite challenging. Not many people can apply such a drastic change overnight and never look back.

Earning Your Food
You see, breaking a sweat burns calories and burning calories leaves you hungry. But this isn’t just any kind of hunger. This is *true* hunger that you have earned through exercise. Hence the phrase “earning your food!”
And what better way to refuel yourself after an engaging workout than a generous helping of (insert your favorite fruit here)? When I’ve just worked my butt off, I want something sweet, hydrating, quick to prepare, and satiating.
Fruit fits the bill!
You Mean I Have to Diet AND Exercise?
You don’t *have* to do anything. But if you want to experience optimal health, a good exercise program should be part of your routine.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, *health is not only about what you eat.*
But I’ve Never Exercised!
Now that’s just silly. To “exercise” simply means to move the body in some physically challenging way. Every one of us has done that at some point in our lives.
It could be gardening in the backyard, playing a sport, or even carrying a child. All of that is exercise!
Where Do I Begin?
Walking is a great place to start. It’s easy, low-impact, and relaxing. You could walk around your neighborhood or go to a cozy local park. Walking is also a fabulous way to get some extra-important sunshine and fresh air.
Don’t like to walk? Do you have little ones at home? Try some fun outdoor activities you can do together. Or participate in a local sport. Or learn to swim. Or pick up an exercise DVD…
The possibilities are endless. No matter what you choose, get yourself moving and earn your food!
